Brisbane!

On the spur of the moment, Nick convinced me to come to Brisbane with him. So I did.

Needless to say I had a completely awesome time and as usual Nick was completely right that it was the best thing to do.

First up, from the airport we drove around looking for a couple of specific bottles of wine from specific bottleshops. I took many photos of buildings.

Later (much, much later) it was time for Spinach and Fetta pie. Yum! I am instant convert. Possibly my enjoyment was so extreme because I took pains to commune with the spinach before eating it.

The next day we got up 'early' and drove to Toogoom, where we stayed at Ash's Mums beach property. The water was deliciously warm and we just lazed in it for a while. We left footprints!

We drove up to Bundaberg (or near it) and saw baby turtles hatching! Due to not wanting to blind the little turtles, flash photography was verboten, and my photographs were all blurry. So none of them are here. But you may take my word for it that it was completely awesome :-)
