Amy and I decided the place we looked at on wednesday was perfect (expensive, but the same price as some real dives in the same area), and we signed up for (what would become) a fairly torturous process. Putting down about £400 to take the flat off the market and pay for background checks and so on, we were committed (to at least losing £400 :-)
On Friday I went for my interview at Yahoo! (I had already had a phone interview from Australia). I enjoyed the interview, feeling that they were thoroughly testing me, and if I got through I would be suited for the job. If not, then, well I wasn't.
On the weekend I did a *lot* of walking around London with Amy, who knows her way around admirably, especially since she hasn't been here all that long. I was suitably impressed. We visited her favourite coffee shop, walked around Kensington Gardens and the British Science Museum.
